Withington Tram Stop - Manchester, May 2020

One of the features of daily life in the early days of the pandemic was that public Transport use was reserved for essential workers only - tram use dropped dramatically around Manchester, and the stations were deserted for most of the time. Here you can see a totally deserted Withington Tram stop , on the Manchester bound platform in mid afternoon in May 2020. Taking several images took about half an hour, and in that time there was no-one other than myself at the station - and two empty trams did stop at the station.
